Weltmeisterschaft

It starts today. There are extra beer stalls on the streets and flags everywhere. The lady in the picture has captured my level of enthusiasm perfectly.
I'm kidding. I think I'll go see what the streets are like later today.

Eurovision night, Deutschland hat gewonnen, Un-fu**ing-glaublich!

Yuko watching her first Eurovision live on TV!!!!!!

The party on Mauritiuswall is over but nobody told this guy.

Leiden

This city is close to where some of the pilgrims sailed off to find new adventures and to kick off a genocide. And they flaunt it.

Leiden is also where I met mr. Rembrandt.

Karel and Minna doing some heavy lifting.

Leiden was a super nice city. Less tourists, great company and good beer (Belgian, not Dutch).

Amsterdam

When you go away from the immediate city center Amsterdam is so beautiful, but the tourist hot spots will make you want to cry. I was too bashful and freaked out to take pictures at the Red Lights district. Now I regret being such a Finn.

Die verbotene Stadt Düsseldorf

Düsseldorf was a bit boring compared to Köln. Lots of construction work, expensive shops and upscale cafés. The old town at night was insane, in a bad Costa del Sol way. The parks were nice though, and the Film Museum was cheap and I liked Altbier better than Kölsch.

Lesbians on Ecstasy

This was one of the best shows I've ever been to.

Sonstiges

Green thumbs up!

The wall would look much nicer without the iPhone and cable tv ads, right?

Dom etc.

Köln looks very flat from above

I just noticed how dirty my lens was and cleaned it. Hopefully the photos will be a bit brighter in the future...

These golden memorial stones for the victims of the Holocaust can be found everywhere in the city.

Kids performing in front of the Kölner Dom. Great attitude, not so great dancing. RESPECT!

The stamp from the MEN gig. What it is supposed to depict, I do not know. You tell me.

Neighbors.

Da Dome.

The best thing(s) about the apartment.
